  1. What are the shutter speeds and how are they set?
    There are two speeds 1/200 and 1/40 second. In "A" - the auto setting - the camera set the speed depending upon the light available and the film speed (ASA setting). It will set 1/200 if there is enough light. If not it will set 1/40. When the aperture ring is set to settings other than "A" - f2.8 etc (for flash) - the speed is fixed at 1/40 second.
