SONG PROJECT
I am currently working a new section of the site which I hope to launch in the next issue in which I invite site regulars and other writers, artists, musicians and others to write a short piece (300 – 500 words) on songs/pieces of music/albums which hold special meaning for them. These pieces can take any form and can focus or one or many aspects, memories, feelings about the music chosen, or else be a more abstract response. As usual, I’m afraid I cannot afford to pay for contributions but would be happy to highlight and link to new projects, websites etc of anyone who takes part. Hi, Have had some great submissions in so far for the above project, and lots of my favourite writers are now onboard. Just wanted to mention the closing date for the launch of the project is the end of August 2006. Deadline for all other submissions is 15 September, although, as usual, the sooner people planning to contribute get their pieces to me the better as I'm already working on Issue 15.
