The review by Dan Schneider of Henry Miller's Tropic of Cancer and Tropic of Capricorn is just shocking and grotesque - these books are amazing - not because they are following proper standards but because they illustrate life and senses like you will never experience with another writer. Every page has a quote that can be held on to. If you want an easy read and a quick story stick to Harry Potter - if you want to think, feel, and find love for the greatest and the worst of life, to find yourself swimming through open, raw, and playfully intuitive thoughts and ideas, read henry miller. |
