Beat the Dust TV is now aLIVE!
Yes, let nations speak poesy unto nations cos litzine Beat the Dust has just launched BTD TV, a space for writers to add an audio-visual dimension to their work. BTD TV brings together the best poetry and prose from across the world performed, interpreted or discussed by writers on video. Right now we have videos from Adelle Stripe, Ben Myers, Lee Rourke, Matthew Coleman, Joseph Ridgwell, Heidi James and a little something from Beat the Dust's editor. As a general guide, BTD TV is interested in videos with poetry and fiction being performed in some way, short films to accompany a poem or piece of flash fiction which will appear beneath the video player, interviews with writers talking about their work and any fun, quirky, dare we say arty promo-type clips e.g. to highlight the publication of a new book. Frankly though, we’re open to pretty much anything (except ‘Debbie Does Dallas’ and the like obviously, ha ha!) of quality so if it's inventive, thought-provoking with 'kiss my shades!' attitude, we're interested in having a look-see. If we like it, it'll go straight on the site - no messing about.
