I have to say this. I have looked at how many times a person "views" a subject and how many times they "reply" on this message board.
I hope that NEW people, prospective relative caregivers or relative caregivers that visit here
do feel comfortable enough to leave a message and feel like others care.
I think everyone is frightened to say anything when they see a message board like this because they really don't know what it's about and if anyone would
listen to their problems or if this is just a group
of people that know each other and new people might not be accepted.
At times when you feel the most vulnerable and alone and worried about your children, your relative children, you definately NEED others to talk to. It's horrible to feel like no one can possibly understand what you are going through and being able to trust people enough to talk about it.
I'm glad I found this place with all these understanding people and hope others who venture here
will not be afraid to speak out and express their worries, concerns and fears, frustration, joy, or whatever it might be.
I just wanted to say this because I think many people
read the messages, maybe even write one and then get scared and delete it until they finally can't stand it anymore and write their own message, which is a start to getting support.
