Me oh my. If I can get it together for a moment I can urge you to go to Sondre Lerche's site and watch and listen to live clips of him performing Johnny Johnny Ooh Ooh, Two Way Monologue and It's Over.

Sondre Lerche's Brooklyn appearance 6/4/05
Best laid plans, as they say... I didn't make it due to transportation issues (no L train and not a big enough cushion to make it there in a timely manner despite mapping out a seemingly workable, albeit elaborate, alternate route). So I missed out on new tunes. But at least other Sondre fans are reliable reporters! This is where I got my update on what I missed (waah):
1) Sondre Lerche Forum; and
2) The Modern Age - a cool site I want to check out more extensively.

By now, you've probably seen these but if you haven't, you can thank the fans (one in particular) at the Sondre Lerche forum for posting them for us non-Norwegians:

Here is the lowdown:
It seems like they met on the "Days That Are Over" video. She is an actress about 24 so a couple of years older but I'm only stating it factually. I don't think it makes a difference. Anyway, he clearly was in love when he was touring last fall because he kept saying he finally understood how to perform his song I Want to Call It Love. Then he moved to Brooklyn. It seemed it was for work and possibly to actually be in the same city as his love. Then in June, he tied the knot in NYC at a Norwegian church -Seamen's Church also known as "Kjerka."

Correction: SL's honey's name is Mona Fastvold not Fasvold as previously typed. Also, did I say she was an actress? Some say she is a model. Then again, model/actress is not an unusual profession, right? What else...where do I get my information you ask? Well, I just take in the news - official and fan-based and throw in my own observations and speculations. Eh, voila - my own little gossip column.
Aside: Our little Sondre is turning 23 soon on Sept 5th. He was born in 1982 so I think I did my math right. Best birthday wishes to SL, musical wunderkind, married man and all-around cutie.

Sondre Lerche's Duper Sessions
It almost slipped my mind to order Sondre Lerche's new album: Duper Sessions featuring the Faces Down Quartet. But I remembered and just ordered it yesterday. This one is more lounge-y but the next album will be more pop. Can't hardly wait.
