Bjork: Medulla (2004)

bjork Well, I've been hearing about this album all over the place most recently EW. I can't remember where else I just read an interview... At any rate, it is certainly on my list. I love her voice and I like how she says she needs a break from electronica. So it sounds like Medulla will be right up my alley.

Out of curiosity, I went to some trouble to hear Dokaka's a cappella version of Smells Like Teen Spirit. You can too if you start at dokaka.com. It's free but I'm not sure if it was worth it. LOL. He is one of the artists Bjork collaborates with on Medulla.

The others are Robert Wyatt, Mike Patton and most hyped Rahzel.

I think Bobby McFerrin would've been an excellent partner on this project. So, I can't speak on the album per se yet because I haven't listened to it. I hear some of it borders on inaccessible but there are definite pop songs on it too like Triumph of the Heart.
