Car 134
Many thanks to Car 8 John and Bill for their help at the end of SS15 Twiglees. Their intrepid service crew not only got us and our car back to Carlisle but also fed us on the way! Despite the gearbox failure we thoroughly enjoyed the unique atmosphere on the event. The spectators were great the organisation was very good. I hope we can be back next year. PS If anybody has any photos of our red and yellow Fiesta please get in touch! |

no problem, just great to be able to help, just like Ken Forster and JSL helped us after the fire! that piece of donated leccy cable kept us in the rally, my hand hurt like hell, we used it to jury rig a hand throttle, drove thru Langdale and to service with Bill steering and changing gear!! We laughed and laughed!!
