fantastic event
well after my 1st rac,what can i say the best event since the old style ras in 92,having never drive a mk2 before and after being told that you will enjoy it by g.jones at gjm,i took the plunge-1st corner on the 1st stage hit the insdie post,damage to door,qtr panel and wheel arch on the co-drivers side of course,settled in over the next few stages and then had a push,we were 4th o/a for 2 days i think and then went of on the 3rd stage on the monday,lifted back on and set top 3 stage times over the last 3 stages-o/a 9th,misfire,gearbox change,punctures,spot light failure for 3 miles on sunday night on the last stage,all these things never stopped the enjoyment.i now consider myself a mk2 man and will be back next year,hope i gave the spectators a laugh,i know we had a right laugh.p.griffiths car 9
