Rally Radio
Globecast Radio has recently changed to radiolemans.com and during their Midweek Motorsport web radio broadcast (which has news on most forms of 4 wheeled motorsport) they have been advertising their services to cover events. They already cover Wales Rally GB & Rallye Sunseeker so have experience of rallying even if it isn't their core business, and their shows are entertaining listening. They also put podcasts up for downloading at any time. For the people who cannot get out onto the stages for all 4 days, how about investigating how much their service costs and seeing if it is small enough that a sponsor could cover the cost? It might help attract other sponsors too if they know such a service will be broadcast and if it is promoted. Simon |

Great idea and something I suggested direct to Globecast early in 2007, however they cited funding as tHe reason tHey couldn't do it then. I believe the footage we hear is 'sponsored' so to speak. It would be good and i'd help out if it was needed, I actually think it would benefit the BHRC also but that's another discussion.... |
