Ideal Test on Maps
Dear all regs available for the Tour of Hamsterley 14th Sept. Possibly an ideal test for all of you budding RAC crews - (you make me jealous!!!!!) 42 miles of prime forest on maps - £400 all in. Cheers Steve |

Hello, I'm Joris Erard from belgium, the copilot of Stefaan Stouf with a Ford Escort RS1600. We did some of the British Historic Rally championship rallies this year and now we'll compete the RAC 2008 ! For us it will be the first time to drive on maps. It would be a lot easier for us If we could have an example of such a map? Maybe someone can help us to collect a map from last year? In what scale are the maps? Joris Thanks for your message. Our event would be an ideal test for you. However for information maps are normally 1:25,000 scale Ordnance Survey maps. email me for more information. Help where I can. Steve |

Hello Paul, Yes, we are also very happy and exited to do the RAC ! We wanted to do the event as we looked it last year. We'll first drive the Trackrod and then come back to England for the RAC. Mister Colin H. will send me some maps of last year. But if you can bring some to Flanders, that would be very nice. We'll see. Regards Joris Erard |
