LAST REMINDER
A last reminder: today is the Low Feast of the Conception of Our Lady. This is the main Festival of Advent and is often considered to begin the spiritual preparation for nativity in earnest and is one of the most joyful of the Low Feasts. This will be the first Service of the year held according to the Filianic Rite. The Deanic Liturgical Year ends at Easter and Filianic Rites continue until The High Feast of the Exaltation of the Queen of Heaven on the 14th of Maia/May 1st). Thus the Feast of the Conception is also the beginning of the Daughter-half of the year. The Service will (Dea volente) be held by honoured Raya Chancandre and will be audible. It will also feature a new recording of the Filianic Nativity Carol Hail to the Princess by honoured Fraulein Cecile Landgrebe. All maidens are welcome at this Service. It will be held today, Saturday the 11th of Astraea (8th December) in the White Rose Room at: Pacific Time1 p.m. Eastern Time 4 p.m. GMT 9p.m. Western/Central Europe 10 p.m. New girls are advised to arrive a little early. Honoured Raya will be happy to answer any questions you may have after the Service. |
