User's Guide - PLEASE READ
Thank you for coming to the Avendale Forum. Because of problems at our regular Forums in The Blue Camellia Club, you will find most current threads here. You are very welcome to introduce yourself and join in (ladies only, of course). If you want a daily dose of Aristasian discourse, please go to each of these places: 1 Here! The Avendale Forum. 2 The Aristasia Diaries: A collection of the diarisings of Aristasians and friends of Aristasia. You will find many new things here, and you are welcome to start your own Aristasian Diary if you wish. Think you are too new? You won't be the newest for more than a week? 3. A Chapel of Our Mother God: Not exclusively an Aristasian perspective, but still the resource for Aristasian Faith and Spirituality. New material most days at The Chapel Chronicle. To meet other Aristasians and Aristasia Friends in "real time", go to The White Rose Room. The room may well be empty if you just pop along, but we have regular meetings on Saturday and Sunday. The meeting times are: Saturday: Pacific Time1 p.m. Eastern Time 4 p.m. GMT 9p.m. Western/Central Europe 10 p.m. Sunday: Pacific Time 12 noon Eastern Time 3 p.m. GMT 8p.m. Western/Central Europe 9 p.m. There will (Dea volente) always be someone there for the first hour after these times. Usually the meetings go on until late, and it is well worth looking in prior to the meeting times too. Currently there are often informal meetings in the European evening/North American afternoon. These are not "diary events" and depend upon who is doing what, but it can be worth looking in during these times. At other times it is pot luck, but the room is quite likely to be empty. Don't be discouraged, but use the guidelines above. Special meetings such as religious Services or kinematic showings take place occasionally, normally at one of the regular weekend meeting times. They are announced at the Blue Camellia and Avendale Forums. In Second Life, the Aristasian Embassy may be found in the classified Search. The open Aristasian Group there is White Roses and anyone may freely join (ladies only, of course). You will then be able to see when other White Roses are in SL. If you have trouble making contact in Virtualia please post a note at this Avendale Forum. Someone will always respond and help you. If you wish to ask questions about Aristasia, once again, post at The Avendale Forum (this Forum). It is friendly and welcoming. Pettes are always happy to explain anything. To learn more about Aristasia, you will find excellent resources at: Encyclopaedia Aristasiana The Aristasia Knowledge Base and of course the official Aristasia site: Aristasia Friends These are not the places to go for daily new material (those are above) but are excellent repositories of information about every aspect of Aristasian life, thought and culture.
