Hitchcock "The Early Years" 14-Disc Collection
Hello there, I don't know if anyone actively reads this, but I'm hoping so. Over time, I have acquired all 14 discs of this set, and now I am lamenting not having bought the entire boxed set. I am searching for just the box for this set. I will pay well for it. If anyone doesn't want theirs, has an extra, or can find an extra, please email me at LAVANEXEL2@aol.com . Any help would be appreciated. I am a huge Hitchcock fan and I'm happy to be here... thanks! Chris |

Well Chris, we're happy you're here too! When it comes to the box for the collection, I can see how difficult a time you're having finding one. I recently did some searching for it on eBay, as well as the internet as a whole, and didn't come up with any results for just the box. But things like that do come up, and if I or anyone else here comes across one, we will be sure to let you know immediatly. And thanks again, hope to hear from you soon. |

Hey, thanks for trying! The same thing happened to me with the five Criterion releases, but it was a lot easier to find the box for those. I love how they release movies, and then put them in a box set, leaving you wanting the box... I hope the Masterpiece Collection coming in a few months has some new stuff and is really well done in remastering, because that would be a letdown if it's essentially the same set as the 14 Universal releases. There is one bonus disc I've heard. And we're finally getting Lifeboat on DVD. Very good news! I'll keep looking for my Early Years box though... lol... best regards! |
