First off-
Chlorine gas- deadly to humans
Chemical chlorine (liquid)- harmless (used in pools)..
But what strikes me is that smokers admit smoking is unhealtful, yet at the same time they claim it has no ill side effects.... hmmm.....
And as for second hand smoke, smokers have an even worse argument: tobacco is not "a handful of crushed leaves". Well, ok, so yes it is, but crushed hemp plant leaves are what constitue marijuana- and no one denies the ill effect of those "crushed leaves".
Where do people think the carcinogens come from? Do they magically appear? Sorry- already contained in tobacco leaves. And as for ventilation, until a system is invented that removes smoke as soon as it leaves the smoker's mouth, no smoking venue will be "decently ventilated". Ask any nonsmoker who is aggravated by the constant assault on their lungs and nostrils. |
