For youth living near Highway 116 in Kent County.
A cross-cultural performance arts program.
.Are you Interested in building a multimedia community show together?
.A show that talks about your issues, and the hopes and fears of youth today?
Do you have an interest in:
· Acting - Theatre?
· Dance?
· Graffiti Art?
· Music?
· Writing?
· Spoken Word Performance?
· Rapping?
· Photo/Video Documentary?
· Stage or Production Management?
· Building Stuff for the Show?
· Helping with Sound Equipment & Lighting?
· Learning New Things?
· Hanging Around with New Friends?
· Talking about New Ideas?
The people who brought you the youth program in Bass River last Fall are sponsoring this program. We welcome:
· All youth, of all ages, who attended last Fall
· All youth who thought about attending , but didn't make it
· All interested high school youth living in the Highway 116 area
· All other interested community members, as participants, volunteers, and resource people
Our themes for this show are:
· We Are All Related ~ Nogemag.
· We're All In This Together.
· The Way Things SHOULD Be.
Our first brainstorming will be held tomorrow:

At the Healing Lodge, Elsipogtog Health and Wellness Centre

(opposite the RCMP station)
We'll get started with an advisor who is very experienced with youth community productions:
** Tim Borlase **
will help us get started with this show!
Tim is the Director of the Performing Arts School
at the Capital Theatre in Moncton.
Tim worked for decades in Innu Territory in Labrador,
with all cultures of Peoples,
building community productions with youth.
ALL YOUTH along 116

This program is FREE.

Sponsored by the Breaking Barriers Resource Centre, with support from the Canadian Race Relations Foundation, the Kent Community Suicide Prevention Committee, Mental Health Services at Elsipogtog Health and Wellness Centre, the Hispanic Development Council, the Multiculturalism Program of Canadian Heritage, and many community partners.
