Dave Holmes Footballing god
Former Albion Academy Manager Dave Holmes has just set up his first Football Academy in Burkina Faso he emailed me the other day. he says that people idolises him and people are still going to the barbers and asking for a 'Holmsey', there is talk of him taking over the national side which he is very excited about. he said "To take over the national side would be the a great honour on a par with managing at thackley where i am a footballing god, i think if i was incharge with the backing of 50,000 burkina's with a holmsey hair cut in the stands we could breach the top 50 national sides, i have already held talks with nigel quashie and liam berry in attempt to get them to swith there alliance to burkina faso" after his troubles in botswana where his 18 year old bride ran off with a pig farmer and then his flock of sheep were slaughted it looks like his good karma has finally caught up with dave and rewarded him. there is talk of him returning to thackley with his faso side to play in the Dave Holmes Cup vs Thackley, although it cant happen for another 6 months as extreme security measures have to be taken to hold back the fans as holmsey mania takes hold of thackley. |
