Re: Rio 4 Guiseley

I doubt you could have read that in the Wakey Express. How would they know!?

Maybe it's a wicked rumour...

Next Season

I spoke to Rio last week and he tells me he hasn't signed for Guiseley. He is currently trying to get the hernia problem that hindered him last season sorted before he makes any decision on his plans for next season.
He is fully aware that we wish him to stay at the club but I fully understand his desire to try his hand at the next level. As it stands there is only Rio and Danny Toronczak who have not yet re-signed for next season with Danny likely to be joining Belper Town shortly if my sources are to be believed and we wish him well and thank him for his efforts in his time at Ossett Albion where he has played a huge part in our recent successes.
We are some considerable way to bringing in some new faces for next season. Hopefully I will be able to parade the signing of four or five fresh faces to strenghthen the squad.
I am also absolutely delighted to announce that I have managed to secure the services of former Ossett Town Glasshoughton and Tadcaster Albion boss Wayne Day as Reserve Team manager for next season, Wayne will bring a wealth of experience and is the final peice of the jigsaw in terms of backroom staff and I believ we are now in a position to make big strides forward on the pitch. Pre season training will commence on 25th June and we already have friendlies against Osssett Town Home and Away in the Wilkinson Cup, Belper Town and Hallam at Home arranged and I am awaiting dates for two other friendlies.
