Datchet Open - 7th 8th June?

Datchet are holding an open event for Shearwaters and Hurricanes on the 7/8th June. If there is enough interest we will create a 3rd start and open it up to Dart 18 and Hobie 16s as well (probably straight head to head, no handicap).

This is not yet an event, and will not become one unless it gets support, so please if you are interested (or might be) add your name below.

Those entering from North or West, can leave boats for Sheppy at DWSC if required.

Sounds like a great idea - well I am slightly biased, as I'm a member!

This sounds a cracking idea Barry, as there are no other opens on that weekend, and it splits my journey in two for Sheppey.

Just as long as you have water in the puddle!

Re: Datchet Open - 7th 8th June?

I am in (crewless or not)

And when last there the puddle was full to overflowing !

I cant remember the last time i saw two Hobie 16s racing together, tens of thousands of them around and it is strange that they dont have a race circuit of note (or at all ?), does anyone know why this is ?

Cheers Barry
