DART 18 on EBAY

If you half the hull number, it gives a good idea of the approx sail number if produced in the UK (which it was)so I would guess its about sail no 2400 for that hull. The damage on the bow indicates that that hull has some red and yellow underneath which would make it older still. My best guess would be 1983 or before but it probably a mix of old broken bits painted white. (It also has the old style stainless deadeyes for the trapeze elastic which again would make it pre 1984.)It has clearly been painted and it also mentions twin trapeze so I would check that the mast is straight. One rudder stock is black so that might be 1995 as may be the trampoline. |
