Early bird discount on Worlds 2008 entry ends soon!!!
UK Dart sailors, On April 30th the early bird discount for the Worlds ends! I still miss a lot of UK sailors on the entry list. So don't wait and enter today for a great event! There are already 69 entries! We expect at least 5 entries from South Africa. There is contact with Canadian sailors, so we hope to welcome them as well. The Dart Worlds 2008 organisation managed to get a lot of sponsoring, so all the plans for social events for sailors, non sailors and kids can be organised. Soon on the Dartworlds wedsite there will be information about camping on the event site almost next to your boat. The racing committee started practising on other events, the international Jury is formed, so Workum is the place to be from August 9th till August 15th of this year. As a veteran of two Dart European Championships on the Ijsselmeer, and once-upon-a-long-time-ago a weekly windsurfer at Hindeloopen just a few kilometers south of Workum, I know that this is going to be a great event, both socially and on the water. Dutch hospitality is legend! See you all there. |
