S. African Hulls

Hi I am looking to buy a Dart 18 number in the 4000, The owner tells me that the hulls are not the original and come form a rouge batch from S Africa and they might have some surface defects.

Are these hulls known for any other problems? Should I be looking for anything else on the boat that might be a problem now or in the future?

Thank you for your help

Re: S. African Hulls

The ones that were sold in the UK were only cosmetic seconds and were generally very good, I had a couple of hulls from the same era and they were quick too. They would be about 3-5 years old now.
