Ruth Martin will be at Christ Presbyterian Church for a two-evening seminar on Monday and Tuesday, August 4th and 5th, from 6:00-9:30 each evening. Topics covered will include methods for teaching teens; choosing curriculum; requirements for graduation; preparing transcripts; entering college, including admission essays and scholarships; and preparing for the future with options such as military, tech schools, life, etc. Seminar cost is $45 per family for those who pre-register and $55 at the door. Ruth Martin has a masters degree in learning disabilities and is an educational consultant and mother of three children—two college graduates pursuing post-graduate degrees and one a junior at Georgia State University. All three graduated from home schooling.
