I came across your message forum and have several questions. I have a 6 year-old daughter in the first grade who is having a very difficult time adjusting to her new class. She did great in kindergarten, loved her teachers and friends. She is a bit on the shy side but never once last year told me she didn't want to go to school. She started two weeks ago and all she does is cry in the mornings, while at school, and sometimes even at home and it breaks me heart. With all that being said, her Dad and I are seriously thinking of homeschooling her. My problem is, I have NO CLUE where to start. I have found the forms that we would need to submit to get started, but do not understand which books to purchase or better yet, which curriculum to choose. I have seen so many on the internet and don't know where to start. How do I know which books to buy and what is sufficient for acceptance into the "homeschooling program?"
