WWII history program

WOW! Thank you everyone so much for coming yesterday to the WWII
history program. That was a wonderful group of people that shared
their stories with us. We could have listened all day (of course we
were all ready for lunch by the time a break rolled around, ha, ha).
Our family kept talking all day long about different things we heard
and what stories stood out to us. The history center took our desire
to do a program like this and made it wonderful - they had all the
veteran contacts, provided the space for us, and printed up
everything. So, a HUGE thank you to Julie Carson for that!! Glen
Kyle set up his personal collection of WWII memorabilia up front
(and that's just part of his items, I understand!) and moderated the
program.

If you would like to thank Julie or Glen personally, that would be
wonderful,as they are looking for feedback about the program
yesterday!! If you or your children would like to write a thank you
letter to one or more of the veterans, the history center has said
we are welcome to address it to the veterans in c/o them and they
will absolutely make sure they receive them.

Thank you!
Theda
