Can't remember the bloody title!
Hi there. I seem to remember an SF/fantasy title from the early 90s wherein the hero, a scientist creates a microbe that resurrects dead tissue, goes on to be infected - and resurrected - himself, battles his lab boss who has taken on a quasi biblical role, and lives happily ever after with a resurrected victorian wife, simoultaneously avoiding packs of ravenous pigs. The science was decidedly dodgy (resurrecting fossilised trilobites. Hmmm) but the story was intriguing enough that I'd love to read it again, except that I've lost my copy and can't remember the author or its title... John |

Ah, the joys of getting old... It's called Fire, by Alan Rodgers, and worth a read. John |

Glad you finally remembered it, because I didn't have a clue!
