Philip K. Dick nominees announced; Hugo stuff

This year's nominees for the PKD Award — for best SF novel published in paperback — have been announced. I've reviewed some of them and will try to get to the rest soon. The award will be handed out at Norwescon 31 on 3/21/08. So far this isn't a "blow me away" list, but then, I still have several of them to read.

Undertow by Elizabeth Bear
From the Notebooks of Dr. Brain by Minister Faust
Nova Swing by M. John Harrison
Gradisil by Adam Roberts
Ally by Karen Traviss
Saturn Returns by Sean Williams

Also, those of you who are either attending, or who have bought a supporting membership, to Worldcon this year, and have been scratching your heads over whom to nominate for Best Fan Writer apart from Dave Langford...well...there's certain guy who reviews SF out of Texas....
