RM REG ON 4X4 MOTOR

I was on my home today and when i was going through chipping in hertfordshire north bound on the A10 i noticed a silver 4x4 vehicle heading south bound and as it got closer i noticed part of the registration was
WLT 8?? i didn't get chance to see the last two numbers,
has anyone else seen the vehicle in the hertfordshire area and if so do they know what routemaster the registration is from.

My bus number (if any): rml 2613

If you wish to carry on from 850 to 899

That said, I am not sure of the accuracy as my Dad's first new car TYM124M is still shown as Make:HILLMAN Model:HUNTER DELUXE 1500 Colour: BLUE and I really cannot believe that car is still alive

My bus number (if any): RML2276 etc

My bus number (if any): none yet!

Re: RM REG ON 4X4 MOTOR

Dunno about number plates, but I put an RM gearbox in my Range Rover and managed to get 110mph out of it in Germany.

My bus number (if any): RML2532

Re: RM REG ON 4X4 MOTOR

I don't know about number plates, but did put a Shorrock Supercharger on my Morris 1000 back in the 1960's, and that did over a 100 mph. However sadly the crankshaft did not appreciate the extra twin pulleys it had to drive, and decided to call it a day. Nothing to do with Routemasters though.

My bus number (if any): RCL2250

Re: RM REG ON 4X4 MOTOR

I forgot to mention the RM gearbox was in the boot being delivered to a customer....

Moggy Minor half-shafts don't like bigger engines either!

Re: RM REG ON 4X4 MOTOR

Dead right Roy, it was only a question of time, what with all the youthful exuberance of axle tramping starts to impress my mates.
