Great news! After spiking several more fevers (including one late last night of 101.9), Kyle's counts are climbing! If all goes well today and tonight, Kyle will be released tomorrow, back to the Family House, across the street.

We never found a source for the fevers, but his counts were soooo low that it could simply have been his body's struggle to build them back up.

Speaking of counts...

He is no longer without an immune system and his ANC is now 2,120 (was 100)!

His white blood cells have also recovered enough to so that we can discontinue the daily shots in his legs for a bit!!!!!

We've made it through another mini crisis with peace knowing you are all out there praying for our brave little soldier!

Kyle's next (scheduled) hospitalization is April 26th. This will be phase 3, the final phase of chemo attempting to put him into complete remission before we can start preparation for transplant (more chemo radiation etc).
