Kyle is in Lego Land today! It's down south around San Diego!! What fun! My mom wisked him away for the day, he'll be back tonight in time to go into the hospital tomorrow. Tomorrow he has a bone marrow test to see what the cancer is doing. The results will take a few days to get back. In the meantime he will be admitted to start more chemo.
This will be no matter what the results say, since we have to give his lungs a break and we cant afford to let the cancer grow, we have no choice but do more chemo while his lungs rest. Somewhat rest. They are still vunerable to infection though. It's kind of a catch 22 situation we're in with all of this. The cancer growing, the lungs getting re-infecting and all. *sigh* another tough battle. But with your prayers, we will make it through yet another storm!
Then, we will be off to Minnesota for transplant and the biggest battle of them all to date. This will be the big one. It will kick Kyle's behind!!! If he makes it through the other side, he has a 20-25% chance of living to be old and grey! That's a whole lot better than 0%!!!!!
Minnesota is the only transplant center in the country that will touch Kyle this time around, no one else would. We have hope and so do they. The are leading in the nation and they know what they are doing, so we trust that they know what they are talking about when they give hope!
