Kyle has been admitted and has started his first rounds of chemotherapy. He is in great spirits and still eating! He has yet to be sick at all!!! All great signs!!!
We are so pleased with his progress so far! He had surgerey too and did very well. He had his second central line placed for the transplant. All is well so far!!
A room opened up at the Ronald McDonald House, it's a small room, but our foot is in the door for now! They will move us to a bigger room when one opens up. Probably a few weeks they said. We'll make due!
We had another angel donate miles for our trip home and back to bring the babies and Sean out at the end of the month!!! Praise God! We also had someone else step forward with standby tickets for Jerry to make a trip out to visit! Jerry also volunteerd to bump on his flight back, so he earned himself a free round trip ticket!
I will be leaving to pick up the rest of the kids on the 25th returning on the 28th. Then things will get interesting! And Busier!! It that's possible!!
Jerry is back to work, we are in bad shape financally, this transplant has put us in a bad way. It's expensive to do what we are doing and we need as much help as we can get from any of you called to do so. Please pray about this. Our church has stepped forward as well as several of you, which we deeply appreciate, but the expenses continue to mount as the days go by.
We just don't have the time to put together a fundraiser, nor did we before our trip out here. That would have been our ticket and is what many families do before a transplant, but Kyle's was all last minute and we just didn't have the resourses or time to put it together before we left, so we're stuck paying for everything on our own. Insurance only covers part of some things and we're stuck with the rest. We need your help, just pray about it, that's all we ask. Thank you so much for considering this avenue.

P.S. Please make sure to wash your hands thouroughly before sending Kyle any mail. This is very important as he has no immune system. It is a necessary step for him to receive mail from you or other children. Thank you for taking the extra time to protect our little Kyle!
Did you know we use your mail to decorate Kyle's hospital room? It's great fun! He loves it and we have a great time reading as we hang everything everywhere!!! It saves money in buying decorations and it adds personal spice to his room! The nurses love reading his walls when they come in too! He's a star and feels very loved when his walls are full!!
Enlist your friends, your classes, your prayer groups, your churches in sending Kyle mail! He'll be ever so grateful to receive it!
