Kyle got out as planned and is doing terrific! We had a clinic appt this morning and he didn't need anything at all! No blood products, nothing! He's making it all on his own!
We will continue to go to clinic everyday to check and he is still being fed through a tube in his nose that goes to his stomach. He is also being fed through his heart cathetar. He doesn't eat much otherwise, some applesause here and there, but his appetite has not returned yet. He drinks some though. He likes milk and juice and some rootbeer.
Well, it's pretty quiet, Kyle walked a good distance today (for him). I was so proud of him. He lost a lot of muscle tone laying in that hospital bed. Even with physical therapy, it's wasted away quite a bit, so today's treck was a great success! We will continue to push him little by little to gain back his strength and muscle tone too.
