Re: Looking for pattern

Hi Sandy,

I searched for the pattern and found it for sale on Etsy and Ravelry. It is beautiful!

I found one for free that is very similar. It is at
http://www.allfreecrochetafghanpatterns.com/Patterned-Afghans/Clamshell-Crochet-Afghan/ct/1

I'm going to put this on my to-do list!

I hope this helps.

Re: Looking for pattern

Thank you Sue,
I love the other pattern you found, might have to try this one instead. For whatever reason, whenever I tried searching for the pattern in the past I was typing in "Indian" Paintbrush pattern and that must have been the reason I couldn't find it..Thanks for your trouble.

Thanks,
Sandy

I just love this site and I am glad you still have it...

Re: Looking for pattern

Hi Sandy,

Yes, she just calls it "Paintbrush pattern". Here's the link to her pattern where she has links to where she has it for sale.

It is absolutely beautiful!

The free one I found is beautiful too, it's close to being the same, but not quite.

Both patterns look like they would be so much fun to make. The colour combinations you could choose is unlimited. Even black and white would look fantastic!

Re: Looking for pattern

I can't wait to try the free one, but I just may have to break down and buy the other too.. I'm with you on the colors, there are just so many combinations I don't know what colors to start with.

Happy Hooking,
Sandy

Re: Looking for pattern

I think I want to buy that one, too, Sandy! It is so pretty!

Re: Looking for pattern

Sue,
I found the pattern, but it's was in Russian, so I translated it. It has some terms that are confusing but it has great pictures, so I'm up for a challenge....

Have a good day,

Re: Looking for pattern

Thank you, Sandy! This pattern is so beautiful. I think I will try it first to make a dishcloth as a test run. The google translation is quite humourous. But I think I can get it from the photos and diagrams too.
