...watching a game on the tube today...because it's in the 90's with high humidity and I ain't going outside if I can help it....and I'm listening to the 30something announcer(who probably never played the game) call the game...and in quick succession he's calling the bases pillows, home plate is the dish, and pitchers mound is the bump........say what?....you have got to be kidding me here...did they move baseball to another planet, or what?...
....somebody has got to tell these people that this is baseball for cryin' out loud...not some video game....get it right........or am I just getting old?...lefty

I grew up watching the LA Dodgers. You just can't compare the Bozo Announcers of now with guys like Vin Scully and Jerry Dogget.I think they all should go back to basic baseball school.

I always got to laugh when I see that commercial about a pitcher being an artist by painting home plate with a 90 mph fast ball. The only problem is he's using a knuckle ball grip.

ONE THING FOR CERTAIN,we are getting old but not stupid!
