I’m good jinks...I don’t do much these days except keep a low profile and the occasional mini road trip. I do visit here from time to time and I’m always glad when I see the old familiar names. I have an iPad and it’s a great little device, but it’s a pain in the ass typing on such a small make believe keyboard with old fingers. I hear you can talk to it and it will type it out for you, but I don’t get drunk enough these days to start doing that, so I just visit and lurk...first world problems who knew?
A.B, sorry I missed you when you were visiting cp a while back but June was a hectic month for me and I was gone most of the time.
cp, next time you’re looking to eat some gator try Dingus McGees about 15 miles down 80 just this side of Auburn, they have fresh beer battered alligator nuggets served with a side of Cajun ketchup on their appetizer menu...real tasty especially with a cold beer!!! no, they don’t taste like chicken, more like a big fish that maybe eats chickens.
Yes, would have been good to meet again! Well, we just have to plan better infor next time though.... Eager to taste mrs Havana's pumpkin pie again!
Dingus McGees.... Checked their website, and That looks to be right up my alley as far as dinnermenu goes! I am a sucker for Cajunfood! I Cook a lot of cajunflavoured stuff myself at home and down at the summerhouse by the grill. Their "Seafood Fettuccine" for example, I make a few different variants of myself. I just do not mix fish with shellfood in same dish though, and I spice it slightly differently than the menu reads. (Never really found garlic to go well with seafood, other than with only specifically big prawns). Had I known about Dingus McGees, it would have been a certain "go to" when I was DEROS-ed earlier this summer.
