need help looking for anyone who served at tan son nhut ab or cam ron bay or da nang between late 1962 and end 1965 who served in usaf or who recognize's my name was stationed at McGuire afb nj 1612th oms 1962 to 1966 tdy to these areas several times to repair c135's broken down and airevac I have ao va will not award claim without proof air force did not record tdy in service records tried every where also told there was a fire and usaf records destroyed I need a letter from someone who remembers me being at one of these places please if you can help can be john k. tx or paul r from ma air police at tan son nhut ab latter 1963 I really need now as I do not have a lot of time left please help if you can. all I need is a notarized letter stating you remember me thanks
