according to a news story I read recently...there will be no cost of living increase for social security this year...apparently because of the falling gas prices that we've had lately...making everything cheaper to deliver...bringing down consumer prices...yadayadayada
......and also apparently because us seniors...and veterans...and the disabled...have been living too high on the hog...while the king and his retinue just keep on keeping on...if you catch my drift....
...and then the very nest news blurb...and this one really cracked me up....was about the historically high prices for eggs......
....so I guess we won't be eating eggs with our meager allowances......lefty
Yep, And a 65% increase for medicare....mamamia.
Also I heard that the gubiment passed a law to keep the arm forces and disable vets with a 1.7% permanent cola increase.....IDK.
Last year we got 1.7 cola.....Crossing my fingers.
