have you all seen or heard about the big uproar over some Facebook comment made by one of the Dancing with Stars guys?....it seems he posted a picture of a young girl who was obviously overweight...actually obese.....and who was slurping one of those big gulp sodas....and he supplied the caption that parents who let their children become obese like this should be charged with child abuse...or something to that affect........anyway, it turns out that the girl has Downs syndrome and her mother is outraged over the whole affair...and suing the guy and the photographer...who took the picture without permission...for millions of bucks....claiming emotional distress...among other things......I guess she's making the claim...and she probably believes it to be so....that the child's obesity is directly connected to the Downs syndrome.....
........but here's the thing...it's a bunch of hooey...the kid doesn't need to be sucking down any sodas...she could be...and should be...out running and playing like any kid her age...and the mother should be making sure that her diet is better and that she does get exercise..........in other words....I agree with the posting....through laziness...or stupidity....it is child neglect.......lefty<---ducking and covering.

Now days kids don't go outside that much because the lack of a good Wi-Fi..
