Hello, I recently found a newspaper clipping regarding my grandfather, Sidney E Holland of the Headquarters I Field Force. The article talks about how he and two other men, George C Blinebury and Jerry J Nordin were awarded the Army Commendation Medal for saving the lives of three Vietnamese workers who were electrocuted. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a way to find out more about the incident or a way to search for the other two men.

When did this event take place? I was in Nam from May '65 until May 1966. I went to Nha Trang several times from Cam Rahn Bay during that time. But sorry, I can't help you as it never happened during my time there.
