My father has been wanting to find the SSGT that saved his life in Vietnam. The only details he could remember were: SSGT Green or Greene; 1st Battalion; 7th Cavalry; 1st Air Cavalry Division.

My father was wounded in combat and would have died if this SSGT had not picked him up over his shoulder and carried him out of the area to get medical attention.

This happened in 1969 and the SSGT only had 6 more weeks to go.

If anyone knows who I am talking about and can give me details, I would greatly appreciate it. My father would like to see him one more time and thank him.
