He met and had one daughter with my grandmother, Anh Thi Nguyen, in December 1970.
He named my mother, Rocky Lamb.
Before coming to VN, Henry lived in Northern California. He has one daughter, Leslie Lamb, born in the states. She was born in 1952. He was a sergeant in the US Army, serving in Vietnam between 1968-1973. We're not sure how old he was at the time. My grandmother has dementia now.
When VN fell to communism, he was forced to leave. He wanted to take my grandmother and mom with him.
When America allowed the Amerasian children to come to the states, my grandfather tried to sponsor my mom/grandmother when they were in a refugee camp in the Phillippines.
We know he's a good man and did what he could. I'm taking on the search on behalf of my mom now.
