Is there a way to slow down red squirrel 0.6?

It runs way too fast on my 800mhz pc.

Please help

Sometimes it could help by typing

*cache off

before you start *desktop.

But I have the same problem, Zarch runs way too fast, both in "Games-Only Machine" and "A5000" mode with cache turned off.

A440 mode hangs when I try to open the 0: disk, so I haven't been able to try it there. :(
