Conductors Area Fare chart door.

I needed to make a couple of these doors, RM13 has it missing, and RM17’s one was very tatty. I bought an 8 x 4 sheet of ½” Birch ply (9 ply), as per original, programmed it up on one of our CNC machines, and I now have a dozen. I want to keep four doors, but if anyone else has a tatty door that needs replacing I have some spare, they have the correct rad’s on plus rebated at the back for the glass and come complete with holes for lock. You can see these doors on my fotopic site, not a very good photo though.
Price is £15.00 each

Ps. Regarding the front grills, after people querying the mesh size, I have now obtained from Brian Lewer a copy of the original 1959 drawing for the grill, just to make sure the patterns that I have are correct, and they are.

Re: Conductors Area Fare chart door.

That's excellent stuff. I hope our input for the grilles has helped- at least with the correct colour!

If the gauge and pattern of the grilles are spot-on and your 1st pair fit then maybe you should knock out a handful of pairs as I'm sure there will be a few who would love the correct spec item.

Well done too on the doors, This is exactly what is being suggested about surplus items being offered.

Cheers
Jack
