Derek Potter has passed away

Derek Potter,(N 99444) my partner for the last 20 years, very recently past away.
In his working days on London Transport, he was one of the very first drivers of the RM in London ( and I believe they were fully expecting him to dent it on its very first day in service), he had many, many friends across the garages in London, had a Clippy named Doll, and with his friends, Andy (who appeared on a recent TV program, that documented the gay goings on across the network), Frank and many others.

Many years have now past, and many of these friends he lost contact with when he left London Buses in April 1988, after becoming disillusioned with the management (who is quoted as being Mr J Telford Beasley on his framed resignation letter I have next to me), and although he kept his PSV for many years, he never returned to full time bus driving (although he did for a short period drive the London Sightseeing tour buses).

I would like to contact as many of his friends as possible, to let them know of his passing, and also the funeral service details if they wish to attend.

I am hoping to me arrange an unmodified, technically correct RM to be at the crematorium when he arrives next week at the City of London,Manor Park.

regards
