Christmas lights tour with RM2213

We celebrated the completion of RM2213's interior refurbishment (after all the seats were removed for service at Glastonbury in June) by retracing her Hackney garage's number 6 route from Hackney to the West End, then a two hour tour of all the sites and the Christmas Lights.

He she is on the piazza at Covent Garden just after the rain had stopped - with an on board party in full swing. Why not!

Happy Christmas!

My bus number (if any): RM238, RM471 and RM2213

Hi Chris -great picture! The wet paving gives a nice extra element. Sounds a very enjoyable occasion!

Busworks did a great job on her Chris, her original owner before Yossarian Gay, a Scottish Hotelier had her at the then Glasgow Bus Museum Bridgeton premises, now the Glasgow Vintage Vehicle Trust where RMs910 & 2121 are currently based.

The front roof dome was a bit of a mess back then and the bus looked a bit shabby, changed days now as she looks in show-bus condition.
