Re: accumulator

The supplier referenced from the ROOF website ( see above) accumulator section appears to be still in business, others on here may have spare ones or you could try Graham Meadows.

My bus number (if any): RTL 960 RMC 1458 RM 1585 and several RTs

Re: accumulator

Try Chris Dobbing who runs this forum for the shrader connectors.

Re: accumulator charging valves.

The 556 connector you are after should be available from any hydraulic hose specialist although it will not be something they have come across before and they will have to research it,but if you tell them it is a schrader fitting they should cope. I wish I had seen this website before purchasing one in this country because they are far more expensive than this lot are selling them for. However by the time shipping costs are added and VAT charged by Customs, the cost may be close. As can be seen there are several different male threads offered, the 556 is 1/8 NPT which is close to BSP but I can assure you the threads are not the same.
The Schrader Bridgeport bar code for the connector is SBII: 005560099.

It would also be wise to purchase a test gauge to read the accumulator pressure accurately; do not rely on the nitrogen bottle gauges. These should be reasonably priced.

Re: accumulator

THANKYOU ALL FOR YOUR HELP AND REPLIES. I DID RING ONE COMPANY BUT THEY WOULD ONLY SUPPLY ME WITH 100 AND I ONLY WANT ONE SO THATS NOT MUCH GOOD. I WILL TRY ANOTHER COMPANY TOMORROW. THANK YOU ALL AGAIN. BRIAN.

Re: accumulator

The company that would only supply a box of 100 is getting confused and thinking that you want the valve cores.
