AEC part no. D1-25942

The AEC part number D1-25942 is the speedo transmitter drive pinion with 11 teeth to suit the RMA type (DU24) 4.08 ratio differential - now I am sure that everyone knew that one !!

Readers of this forum may know that I have been trying to get hold of one of these for the best part of 20 years, but with no success. Last year I was lent one and arranged for a quote for a few to be manufactured. As could be expected, the price for a new one was not cheap, but to cut a very long story short, I have had a new quote and they are slightly cheaper.

To have six manufactured the cost would be £136.00 each whereas two would be £190.00 each.

I know of a couple of RM owners that would like one, but if anyone else would like to join this list, then I would be pleased to hear from you.
