RML 2547 Seats

Hi there, I have been restoring the upper deck and seats on RML 2547 so here are some pics

Doing it all by batches!

The floor nicely cleaned of grime and chewing gum and varnished with Liberon semi-matt finish

The whole floor finished, I also did the aluminium kickplates too.

The bus load of seats to be sorted into decks and sides. it was worth having them labelled before removal!

Some of the seat frames painted and ready to instal, painted with HMG Series 2 red paint, nice to use, these were brush painted.

Before, during and after - seat brackets.

Starting tolook like a bus again!

It was well worth the effort to do the floor and the seat frames, you're only going to fit them once so it seemed best to do the lot. hard work but rewarding!

My bus number (if any): RML 2547
