Rear disc brackets

Does anyone have a source of supply for the rear disc brackets that support the "dustbin lids"? Hydrajaws can supply the lids, but don't do the brackets.

Re: Rear disc brackets

Hi John,

I bought a pair of Brackets from them about 18 months ago.
I think the blokes name was Royston Morgan.
If there is a problem, I can get a batch made.

Re: Rear disc brackets

Hi Bob
It was Royston Morgan that emailed me, so it looks as if they may have stopped making brackets.

"We have stopped making them mainly due to the fact that customers complained that they were not suitable for the modern wheels fitted to RMs"

Re: Rear disc brackets

I have a box full of them as fitted to RF/RT, if anyone wants a pair please contact me.

Re: Rear disc brackets

The RT and RF ones are different to Routemaster ones, It may be possible to convert them, but with the RM the bracket picks up on two holes that are not directly opposite each other, if that makes sense
