RML2366

Interesting to see that Ensign have bought RML2366 from Bugler Coaches of Bristol.

My bus number (if any): RM238, RM471 and RM2213

Re: RML2366

Thats good news hopefully it will stay in this country and not go to canada for absulute charters hopefully to a preservationist.

Re: RML2366

Hi all

Apart from the interest that 2366 has moved to Ensign is there anything else remarkable about this one?

Claire

My bus number (if any): 2330 etc.

Re: RML2366

While we all love to see routemasters stay in this country, is it better to go to some so called "preservationists" who leave the vehicle idle for years in semi derelict condition on a farm, as a project for another day, or, go to Canada to be put back into daily service, which is, after all, what they were intended for, and which keeps them in far better overall condition?

My bus number (if any): RM531

Re: RML2366

From what I remember of it on the 159, this was an Iveco with a bit of rocket fuel in the tank. There seemed to be about six of them at Brixton that really did go. On this basis it would seem to be worth keeping for the private hire fleet.
